WELCOME TO  THE HUNTER VALLEY FINCH CLUB INC

The Club was formed on the 1st of June 2001 as a way to bring together anyone interested in keeping and breeding all types of Finches and to exchange information with individuals, groups or other clubs.

VISITORS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME AT  OUR MEETINGS.

The Office Bearers and members of the Hunter Finch Club Inc wish to thank all those buyers, sellers and trade stalls that attended the October 2017, 2018 and 2019 sales, and helped make them a success.

COMING UP IN  2022

From the Committee of the HVFC Inc, we look forward to seeing members and visitors at the June Club Meeting, on Friday 3rd June.

All scheduled Club Meetings will of course be revised closer to the time, in line with the evolving COVID - 19 situation.

NOTE: All meetings will be held as per the current NSW COVID19 Health guidelines.

Remember:

• Stay at home and do not attend if you are feeling unwell.
• Practice good personal hygiene including:
• Cleaning your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap & water, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser.
• Cover your nose and mouth, when coughing and sneezing with a tissue or into your flexed elbow.

The date for the 2022 HVFC Inc Bird Sale is Sunday16th October, at the Maitland Basketball Stadium.

SALE COMMENCES - 10am until 2pm
BBQ, Takeaway food and Refreshments from 7am
(Seed Sales Outside – all Trade Stalls Inside)
Benching of birds: Saturday 15th October, 3pm to 4.45pm sharp.
Sunday 16th October, 6am to 9.30am.
NOTE: COVID RESTRICTIONS AND PROTOCOLS APPLICABLE AT THE TIME WILL APPLY.

Entry Fees:
Sellers - $1 per bird (min $5) + $3 entry fee per person
(Maximum: 1 seller plus 1 assistant per site)
Plus table booking - $15 per table or $10 half table. Payment due within 7 days of booking or booking will be cancelled. Payments received via EFT to: Greater Bank, BSB: 637-000, Account No: 720 498 618, A/C Name: Hunter Valley Finch Club Inc, Reference: Use your “full name”.
Public - $3 per person (Children under 12 FREE)
NOTES:
⦁ Sellers must be financial members of a Bird Club affiliated and INSURED with the Canary & Cage Bird Federation of Australia.
⦁ C&CBFofA Bird Sale Code of Practice will apply - copies on our website and on display around the venue.
⦁ Current NSW Bird Licence requirements will apply.
⦁ NO pigeons or poultry.
⦁ Traders must carry their own Business/Public Liability Insurance and must produce a current copy of the Certificate of Currency documentation PRIOR to the sale.
⦁ There is a "Maximum 1 seller, plus 1 assistant per site."
